An empty altar

You sit one night with relic cards on iPhone, held in portrait. The faces are bronze, cloth, letters, and candles, and each face carries a weight. A wild card can join the night.

The watches

The foyer shows the night before you sit. The altar is empty, and a cold line is written beside it. Five relics start in the hand. Keep a relic and its weight is added to memory. Offer a relic and that weight becomes vows, while the card goes to ash. Take one kept relic back, once in the night: it returns at half weight, and the next keep of that relic counts only half. Vows can buy coal, and coal lowers the cold line. At dawn, memory under the cold line ends the night. Three nights can be sat from the foyer.

The candle corridor

Two shadows wait on this shorter table. Burn one relic and half its weight becomes oil. A shadow of the same kind is fed. The other still leaks. The lamp goes out when the oil is gone.

Condolence

A guest shows one relic and names a relation. You answer with a card of that relation. A miss or a slow answer spends rapport. The room closes when rapport reaches zero.

Still on the phone

The memory book, the relic book, and the guest book remain on this iPhone, with the network off or on. Beside the lamp the flame can breathe or hold still, the gain on a chosen relic can be shown or hidden, ash can rise from a burned card or leave the dish clear, and the shortfall can stay beside the cold line or be put away. Sign-in is not part of the game, nights are not posted, and the tables have no purchase. On-screen words use the language chosen on the iPhone.
